The AI invents nothing, evaluates nothing and makes no independent decisions. It helps us to check the information provided, standardize it and make it more readable and findable for you as a visitor.
Property Descriptions – Quality Control and Optimization
Every property that is newly listed with us automatically goes through an AI-supported quality check. The AI works exclusively on the basis of data and texts provided by the provider. In detail, it checks and optimizes the following areas:
Text corrections in body text:
- Spelling, grammar and punctuation
- Standardized measurements
- Price formatting – consistent format for currency information
- Obvious typos and incomplete sentences
Page title:
For each property, the AI creates a precise page title containing the most important features – size, property type, equipment highlights and location.
SEO meta title and meta description:
Search engines display a title and a short description in their results. The AI generates these based on the property text – precise, within the technically specified character limits and without invented content.
Plausibility checks:
- Living areas and property sizes are checked for realistic values (e.g. no 5,000m² apartment or a 1m² house)
- Prices are checked for plausibility – unusual values are marked for manual review
- Number of rooms, bedrooms and bathrooms: if these are missing as a data field value, the AI extracts them from the body text
- Availability date and year of construction are recognized and formatted consistently
Additional fields:
- Property type classification (house, finca, apartment, land, commercial, etc.) is verified based on the description text
- Commission and deposit are checked for completeness and formatting
- Free text information about price and duration are standardized
- New construction designation is recognized and set based on the text
Publication Control
New properties are not published immediately. After AI processing, they first go into a queue. We publish in stages within a fixed time window – not all at once. For new properties, notifications are automatically triggered to our social media channels and push notification subscribers. For properties that were already online earlier, this does not happen – to avoid suggesting artificial freshness.
Spam Detection in Agent Import
Some agents do not update properties in the regular way, but instead delete an existing property and then list it again with a new internal number – sometimes to move back up in search results, sometimes accidentally. Our system automatically recognizes such duplicates: if a match is found, the property is not listed again, but the existing entry is updated and marked for manual review. This way we avoid duplicate entries and maintain continuity.
Image Captions (Alt Text)
For each image of a property, a descriptive alt text is automatically created. The basis is the image itself – the AI analyzes the image content and describes what is visible. These texts are important for accessibility (screen readers for visually impaired users) and are evaluated by search engines.
Multilingualism (English and Spanish)
Our pages are available in English and Spanish in addition to German. The translation is done by machine. These translations are not manually edited – they convey the content in terms of meaning, but may contain linguistic inaccuracies. The German-language original version is always the editorially reviewed version.
Redirects and Technical Maintenance
When properties are removed, an automated system ensures that existing links do not lead to dead ends. Visitors and search engines are redirected correctly – this protects existing rankings and prevents error pages.
What AI Does Not Do For Us
To avoid misunderstandings: the AI here does not evaluate properties, does not provide price recommendations, does not estimate market developments and does not communicate with interested parties. It does not invent equipment details, location descriptions or features that are not in the agent documents. Decisions about publication, archiving and manual corrections are always made by a human.
